You Can't Pray to the Father!
A Simple Way to Understand the Trinity
shocked expression

In John 14:6, Jesus says, "No one comes to the Father except through me."

As a Christian, it is important to understand the nature of God since we are to love and honor Him and seek a deep relationship with Him. Not having a clear picture of our Creator inhibits many from seeking or developing muc h of a relationship at all.

We all know that in His Ten Commandments He decla res that there is only one God , which is one divine being that has no beginning or end, and that for eternal salvation we must uphold this belief as true. We also know that the Bible foretold of God coming to walk the earth in the form of the Christ in Is aiah 9:6: "A child is born to us; a son is given to us, whose name is God, Hero , Father of Eternity."

We also know that the Bible foretold of God coming to walk the Earth in the form of the Christ in Isaiah 9:6 "A Child is born to us; a Son is given to us, whose name is God, Hero, Father of Eternity."

So upon Christ's birth, God has stated his son's name is Father of Eternity, meaning he is wholly God in his spirit and wholly human in his body which came from Mary. John 10:30 confirms this where jesus states, “I and my Father are One.” We similarly receive the Holy Spirit, which emanates from the Lord to manifest the living force inside of us that comprises our spiritual body, which supports the life of our physical body.

The only difference is that Jesus' divine spirit was not a manifestation of the Holy Spirit coming from God the Father; it was the Father himself. As Jesus overcame the temptations of his physical body, which came from Mary, he put off the nature of his human self. Upon his death on the cross and resurrection, He glorified the human part, taking the body with him while making himself purely divine. Christ, whose name is "Father of Eternity," was now fully God in heaven with a human form. He is the one and only God, the divine human.

It is this Father we are to pray to by invoking his name as Jesus, Lord or Christ.

Like Jesus our physical body, along with proclivities toward evil, are from our mother while our spiritual body or will takes on the form of our human father's spirit which must be reformed into the image of God.

Unlike Jesus, whose spiritual body was the Eternal Father which is divine truth, we must read the word of God, believe it, and then act on it through repentance so the Lord can come into us and regenerate our soul, after which he can overcome the evil loves of our physical body.

We are physically incapable of overcoming sin. Only by resisting evil because it is sin will the Lord enter us. Not doing evil to protect your reputation or because of human laws will not regenerate your spiritual body, and these "works" are called dead in the word. Christians who have studied God's word to understand what sin is, and have gone through the process of resisting evil as sin and have allowed Christ to regenerate their spiritual bodies, will be in the form of a human body in heaven because that is now the form of our Lord and Savior, and we are to remain in his image for eternity. We will not be "like the wind, without bodies" as some unfortunately believe.

Christians who have studied God's Word to understand what sin is and have gone through the process of resisting evil as sin and have allowed Christ to regenerate their spiritual bodies will be in the form of a human body in Heaven because that is now the form of our Lord and Savior and we are to remain in his image for eternity.

In Isaiah 63:16 it says, "You, Jehovah, are our Father; our Redeemer from everlasting is your name." This is why there are also a thousand passages where the Lord our Savior is called Jehovah.

In Matthew 6:9, the Lord's prayer, which states, "Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be thy name," is referring to the Father of Eternity, which is God's human manifestation as the Christ, which is in fact the Father's name. This is why Jesus says if you have seen the Son you have seen the Father and that you cannot come to the Father except through the Son. Once the Father of Eternity took on a human body, we cannot have a relationship with an unseen God anymore because he now is covered in a divine glorified human form through the Son.

When talking to some people about the trinity, they reference the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit as three persons that comprise a god family or three entities that comprise the same divine equal essence of God and say this is the one God being spoken of. These beliefs are in fact blasphemy to the Lord, and if you believe this, you are breaking the commandment that says you must believe there is only one God.

If you are saying there are three entities that have coexisted from eternity, you do in fact believe in three gods, not one, no matter if you call these three persons or entities one god or not. The fact is there is only one God that has no beginning or end that came to earth as Christ and put on a human form through the glorification of that body. His power and manifestation emanates from this divinity, now called the Christ or our Lord, in the form of the Holy Spirit. Christians who have studied God's Word to understand what sin is and have gone through the process of resisting evil as sin and have allowed Christ to regenerate their spiritual bodies will be in the form of a human body in Heaven because that is now the form of our Lord and Savior and we are to remain in his image for eternity.

This is the only understanding of the trinity you can have that does not constitute a sin in the eyes of our Holy Father, who is now the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If you think three and say one, that is sin and it leads to death. If you think of the one God of Eternity as the soul of the human Jesus, from which the Holy Spirit emanates as His power of manifestation, and believe in this one God as our Lord and Savior, then you are abiding by his commandment to believe in one God, and only this belief leads to salvation.

Many ministers that teach we must separate God into multiple parts in our mind point to Genesis 1:26 which states, "Then God said let us make man in our image..." but these educators ignore that scripture teaches that "man" does not mean a human it means a spiritual man formed in a human that is living by the commandments...

In closing, with the above understanding, everyone can see that God in the form of the trinity did not exist until the coming of the Christ and God's glorification of his human body. Also, you can see why you should address your prayers to Jesus, to Christ or to the Lord and not to "the Father," because our creator now has a glorified human form.
